Joshua Lowcock served as a Non-Executive Director (NED) of Prime Media Group (ASX.PRT). Joshua was appointed to the board of Prime Media Group in December 2020. Prime Media Group was a regional television broadcaster with a viewing area that covers northern and southern New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, the Gold Coast area of southeastern Queensland, and all of regional Western Australia.
Joshua also served as the Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee (RNC) of Prime Media.
In 2021, Joshua was a member of the Board team who successfully sold the media assets of Prime to Seven West Media. A deal that required approval by the Australian Competition Regulator. As part of the sale, Prime Media Group was renamed PRT Company Limited. The sale of Prime to Seven created Australia’s first truly national television network, spanning both metropolitan and regional Australia.
At the completion of the sale of Prime to Seven West Media (December 31, 2021), Joshua stepped down from the board.
Joshua served on the board of Prime, because, in the words of the Board Chair “for his digital economy expertise, counsel, and networks” as part of Prime’s revenue diversification strategy. More details here.
