XTEINK have been teasing that there were new products in the works and we finally have a new teaser. This is the XTEINK MX, it’s a portable eINK screen. It’s a plug and play device external screen, optimized for a phone or computer. The refresh rate isn’t bad considering it’s eInk. Yes, there are some refresh artefacts, but this is really pushing eInk to its limit. XTEINK claim that they’re still working on the software for the XTEINK MX, so expect more updates over the coming weeks.

When will the XTEINK MX be released?
That’s a fair question, at the moment the only video (embedded below) is an early developer version. We’re probably 1-2 months out from pre-orders. We will get the XTEINK S4 and XTEINK X4 Pro V2 before then.

XTEINK MX Specs
No details yet on size, etc. as soon as I get them I will update this post. What we do know is the MX is an external monitor and it works with PCs and mobile devices. Price is unknown.
