The World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) predicts that ad fraud will become the biggest market for organised crime by 2025, worth about ~US$50bn.

The opaque digital advertising ecosystem enables this and there is little to no accountability or understanding about the scale of the problem – until now.

The Unclickable Project, a documentary film looks to examine the problem and bring mainstream attention to the problem.

In 2021, Joshua Lowcock was interviewed as part of the Unclickable documentary.

The solution to ad fraud will come, not from the industry or technology, it will come when there is a commitment by regulators to stamp out the problem. This will also require people in the industry who are both willing and able to work with regulators to educate them on the problem and implement solutions.
