In September 2025, Remarkable announced their newest device, the Remarkable Paper Pro Move. This is a small form factor, color Remarkable (read a review of the Remarkable Paper Pro Move, my impressions here – I own it).
As with the Remarkable Paper Pro, with the Remarkable Paper Pro Move, Remarkable ditched EMR for USI 2.0. This means you can’t use your pen from your Remarkable 2. If you lose your pen, then an official replacement costs around US$130 (ouch!) but there are compatible and cheap alternatives that are cheaper and work fine. They make great replacements or even a backup.
The best choice was the KuRoKo Stylus. But it’s constantly going out of stock. It rocked, because it charges magnetically.
The backup choice I have found (works on the Remarkable Paper Pro and the Remarkable Paper Pro Move) is this pen from TiMoVo. It unfortunately doesn’t charge magnetically, you have to charge by USB, but it’s a great stop gap. At under $50 (and frequently there’s a discount coupon) it’s a good backup. Especially if you’re like me and sometimes in the rush to work you find you have left your pen at home and need a spare for the office.
Remarkable Paper Pro Move Replacement Nibs / Tips
As for Remarkable Paper Pro Move replacement nibs/tips. You can get decent aftermarket discount Remarkable nibs/tips for under $30. These flynewrite Remarkable Paper Pro Nibs work well on the Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move.
Hope this helps someone else!
PS. If you’re after Remarkable Paper Pro Move compatible cases, I’ve found some cheap Remarkable Paper Pro move case alternatives.
