Well it’s confirmed! It IS the Remarkable Paper Pure and I have leaked images to share. After tracking the Remarkable Paper Pure rumors and patents, here’s your first official look at the new Remarkable. Positioned as the “place to think” the new Remarkable Paper Pure builds on what is great about the Remarkable 2, but in a smaller form factor. What the leaked images tell us:

Official Name: Remarkable Paper Pure
10.3″ display
21ms screen response time (faster than the Remarkable 2, which was 30-35s)
0.79lb (360g) lighter than the Remarkable 2
Remarkable Paper Pure is smaller than Remarkable 2
3 week battery (1 week up on the Remarkable 2)
USB C Charging
Black and White Only
Remarkable Connect Support
Looks like they have gone for the same stylus as the “Pro” series.

What is the price of the Remarkable Paper Pure?

Based on what I have been able to determine, the US Price of the Remarkable Paper Pure would be around USD$450 ex tax. If they can hit this price, it would be cheaper / about the same as the Remarkable 2. This includes the stylus. The release date is May 6 2026. There is no sign (yet) of the Remarkable Paper Pure on Amazon.

Where does the Remarkable Paper Pure sit in the Remarkable Range

The Remarkable Paper Pure will be Remarkable’s entry level device,

Does this mean we’re at End of Life (EOL) for the Remarkable 2?

Yes, based on everything I am seeing including ‘deal’ pricing online and relentless ads, this means our Remarkable 2, after 6 years, has finally called it a day. I expect that Remarkable will still support software updates on the Remarkable 2 for a while, and the hacking and mod community will continue to thrive.
