For Remarkable fans, it was great to see a full color Remarkable announced, the Remarkable Paper Pro aka Remarkable 3. There are some good and bad things about the new color Remarkable. One of the bad things is Remarkable isn’t offering an upgrade / trade-in program similar to companies like Apple.

The good news for US residents is that Best Buy sells the Remarkable Paper Pro and offers (currently) US$140 trade in credit on your old Remarkable 2. Yes, you could probably get more selling it direct yourself on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or Craigslist. But judging by the flood of Remarkable tablets hitting these websites in the hours following the announcement, expect a bit of downward price pressure.

If you have a Best Buy Credit Card, you can also get the Remarkable interest free for 12 months, which might just lessen the pain of upgrading.

Reminder, I am not affiliated, associated with, nor sponsored by Remarkable or Best Buy. Sharing this in good faith with the community. I do not know if retailers outside the US offer a trade in. Thanks.
