While researching the Lowcock surname in Hong Kong, I came across Pilot Office Henry Lowcock who was a pilot in World War II.

In honor of his memory and service, I am sharing the information I discovered.

Other Notes:

Henry Lowcock was survived by his wife and children, including the Hong Kong schoolteacher, Sydney James Lowcock (1930–2012); Alwin (Alwyn) (Ally) Wong (1932–2019); and Jack Walter Lowcock (1939–2004). I have a detailed Lowcock Hong Kong family history page. The photo on this page is from Henry’s US passport application and according to my research he briefly lived in Wisconsin during the 1920s (possibly studying Engineering).

I find Henry’s history fascinating, as work has seen me live in Hong Kong and then in Wisconsin.
